Cristina Díaz Moreno (Madrid, 1971) and Efrén Gª Grinda (Madrid, 1966) are architects and founding partners of amid.cero9. Both have Diploma Unit Masters from the Architectural Association of London (2009) and run an Option Studio, 'Fantastic Consortium of Ideas', at the Harvard University Graduate School of Design (2015). They have also been Visiting Professors at the Institut für Kunst und Architektur at the Akademie der Bildenden Künste (2013-2014), Project Lecturers at the Madrid School of Architecture (ETSAM) (1998-2011) at the European University of Madrid Architecture School (1998-2013), Critical Visitors at the Cornell University APP (2007), and visiting lecturers and speakers at a number of universities in the United States, Europe and Spain (Harvard, Columbia, AA, Princeton, UCLA, Bartlett School, Syracuse, Mendrisio, ParisMalaquais, amongst others).
amid.cero9'S work, projects and constructions have been awarded the Madrid Architects' Guild's 2015 Best Building Prize for the Free Educational Institution, The Architectural Digest's 2015 'AD New Values Prize', the ACI 2015 Prize for the Free Educational Institution, the Madrid Architects' Guild First Prize 'Opera Prima', for the Diagonal 80 building, the 2011 Contractworld New Generation Award, the 2010 Architectural Review Award for Emerging Architecture and the NAPISA 2010 Construct Award for the best industrial building, amongst others.

Klaus Stattmann was Born in Villach (Carinthia), and currently lives in Vienna. He received is diploma in architecture at the University of Applied Arts in Vienna in the Studio Prix. In 1993 founded the office for architecture and research in Vienna. Station has numerous architectural projects at home and abroad, including Riff Vienna - performative urban structure for the promenade along the Danube Canal (Vienna 2003), residential building in the Auer Welsbach Street (Vienna, 2004), Fluc_2 - 2005), he also exhibited at the 5th Architecture Biennial (Sao Paulo, Brazil, 2003), Rock over Baroque, Architecture Venice Biennial (2006).

Liam Young is a speculative architect who operates in the spaces between design, fiction and futures. Trained as an architect in Australia, he has worked for a number of the world’s leading design practices. As technology increasingly became the fundamental driver of urban change Young became frustrated with the slow pace of traditional architecture and set up his own speculative futures think tank, Tomorrows Thoughts Today, a collaborative practice, working across science, technology and architecture. To ground his design fiction practice in the realities of present Young has also cofounded the research studio ‘Unknown Fields’, an award winning nomadic workshop that travels on annual expeditions to the ends of the earth to investigate emerging trends and uncover the weak signals of possible futures. He develops this research through teaching positions at the Architectural Association in London and is visiting professor at Princeton and currently teaches at SCI-Arc.
